You know, the exams and assessments period is always so conducive to procrastination.

Here's my 2am rant for the week:

Every now and then, I feel ever so slightly awkward for supporting Barack Obama - not because he's not the sheer physical representation of all the ideals that America should be striving for, but because I'm not an American citizen - so you know, people ask - 'why should you care who wins?'

But the thing is - I may not be an American citizen but I am a citizen of the world. And America's non-compulsory voting system makes me wish that for every ignorant person who chooses to forgo their right to vote, someone else around the world who believes in the idea of democracy and who actually cares where the planet is going, gets to have a say instead.

And my two cents worth on Sarah Palin - don't refuse to vote for her because of her personal affairs - however judgmental you may be about teen pregnancy. No, if you're not going to vote for her - make sure it is because she's anti-gay marriage, anti abortion rights, anti-women's rights, that she is going to send America into war against Russia if it pulls another Georgia and that she made rape victims pay for their own forensic examinations (Rape kit? wtf. I have no more words).

So in celebration of the notion that YES, WE CAN to opportunity and prosperity and that YES, WE CAN to justice and equality, here's a clip to really drive the point home.

John McCain getting Rick Rolled?! It don't get no better than this, baby!
